Art Pin - 24PO

The Art Pins as a product started off life as large drawings, produced to inspire and motivate my woven work. Once their usefulness has been utilised, rather than have these pieces destined for landfill, they have been repurposed into attractive art pins. No two are alike and each is a unique landscape in its own right. The original drawings and marks were based on observations made in the Scottish land and seascapes, particularly the Outer Hebrides and Shetland and have themselves now become sources of inspiration.

The Art Pins measures 59mm in diameter, produced using a variety of mixed media techniques including wax, acrylic, ink and graphite and as a by-product finished pieces are water proof and comes mounted on a colour coordinated card and envelope.
