Shetland Cravats

This collection was inspired by my father’s collection of 60's wool and silk-backed scarves, that had a faint nod to the Mod movement to them.

Both collections are handwoven from Shetland yarn and backed in a neutral hand-dyed grey silk twill, giving a softer feel when worn against the skin. This collection has been cut from a larger piece of woven cloth, with a carefully chosen colour palette for the weft and woven in various blocks, meaning no two pieces are like, making each cravat a one-of-a-kind piece. Please note, that each end differs, giving the wearer two looks from the same piece.

Each cravat measures 115cm x 12cm at its widest point.
