PickOne is a creative company owned and operated by myself, James Donald. Based in Edinburgh, I trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee.
The site will be populated with further product news and information about PickOne and its products, so it will be worth while checking in from time to time as the site grows.
You will also be able to purchase products from my Shop page all of which have been designed and made in my Edinburgh based studio.
I am primarily a weaver using Scottish based materials including lamb's wool, Shetland wool and other local sourced fibres. Through diversification I am now producing lines of digitally printed scarves, laser cut products, ceramics and hand etched whisky glasses. This process was assisted by the then named Scottish Arts Council who awarded me a Creative Development Award which enabled me to take time out from my practice to expand my product ranges. All of this has been well documented in the earlier part of my blog.
